An Early Education and Care Program

Enrollment age:  2.9 years through Grade 6

CHILD CARE OPERATES YEAR - ROUND

ServicesOur childcare service is available from 7:00 A.M. until 6:00 P.M.  Children enrolled in childcare also fully participate in our preschool program. Our age specific preschool program is included in fulltime tuition. Three year old children participate two mornings a week, Tuesday and Thursday, in an age specific preschool program.  Four and five year old children participate either three mornings a week, Monday, Wednesday, Friday, in an age specific preschool program or four afternoons a week, Monday through Thursday, in an age specific preschool program. Children who are enrolled fulltime participate in a multi-age preschool classroom the days they are not in an age specific preschool classroom.

PRIVATE PRESCHOOL PROGRAM OPERATES SEPTEMBER - JUNE

THE CARING PLACE has a preschool program that centers on the whole child.  It is filled with fun, sharing, and learning presented in an age appropriate and developmentally appropriate approach.  Our program facilitates growth in all areas of a child's development: social, intellectual, physical, and emotional.

  • We offer a two day a week session for children who are two years nine months to three years old. This class meets from 8:45 until 11:30 on Tuesday and Thursday.
  • We offer a three day a week session for children who are four to five years old. This class meets from 8:45 until 11:30 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
  • We offer a four day a week session for children who are four to five years old and will be attending kindergarten the following school year. The class meets from 12:45 until 3:30 Monday through Friday.

STAFF to child ratios are no more than 8/10 children to one teacher. 

BEFORE/AFTER SCHOOL CARE

The Caring Place offers before school and after school care, and summer and school holiday care for children in first through sixth grades. 

The Caring Place is a participating program with the Community Partnerships for Children and Child Care Resources Voucher Program.
